Welcome to our beautiful corner of Virginia. Located right on the western coast of the Chesapeake Bay, Mathews is surrounded by blue-green waters and a bustling fishing industry. Mathews is bordered on the East by Chesapeake Bay, on the South by Mobjack Bay, and on the North by the Piankatank River. With more than 200 miles of coastline, you’ll never be far from the beach.
